The Asthma & Allergy HelpLine is a free service available to Canadians with asthma and respiratory allergies and their caregivers. Our Certified Respiratory Educators (CREs) answer email and telephone inquiries and provide relevant, personalized and up-to-date information, support, and advice about asthma and respiratory allergies.

Callers from all across Canada receive information and support about asthma and allergies (including the associations between the two), asthma management, control and treatment, asthma triggers and asthma & allergy friendly™ Certified Products. Services are provided in both English and French.

Every day, 317 Canadians are diagnosed with asthma. Our HelpLine is a source of fact-based credible, interactive information. We help people newly diagnosed, and those with advanced knowledge of the disease.

Many people with asthma are symptom-free due to proper care and management – very achievable goals with education and support. Certified Respiratory Educators talk with many people with recurring (even daily) symptoms mistakenly believing they have done “all they can do”, without realizing it may be possible to live symptom-free.
